What it is

What is the AO Transport fishing bot?

AO Transport is an all-in-one Albion Online bot. Faction transport automation and a live radar overlay are available today, and a fishing module is in development. When the fishing module is ready, it reaches your bot through AO Transport's automatic updates. It is included in your AO Transport license at no extra cost, so buying today gets you the fishing bot the moment it ships. Until then, the radar already helps while you fish by hand: its threats card flags anyone nearby who can attack you, and the overlay shows players, mobs, danger zones, zergs and recent deaths around your spot.

Guide

Fishing in Albion Online, explained

Fishing arrived in Albion Online with the Lancelot update in 2018 and works as its own gathering profession. You need a fishing rod, from Tier 3 up to Tier 8, then cast into rivers, lakes, ponds or coastal water and win a short reeling minigame to land each catch. Freshwater and saltwater have different fish, and visible fish schools give faster, more consistent catches than open water, though they run dry after a while. Bait shortens the wait for a bite but does not make the minigame any easier, and it only has limited charges. The Avalonian Fishing Rod adds a yield bonus but costs more to replace, which matters in dangerous zones. Catches can be sold whole, chopped into Chopped Fish, turned into Fish Sauce or cooked into food, and every catch earns fishing fame on the Destiny Board. Blue and yellow zones are safer but busier and hold lower-tier fish. Red and black zones offer more valuable catches, but they are full loot, so your rod, gear, mount and inventory are all at risk. Fishing is slow, repetitive work with a lot of waiting and watching for gankers, which is exactly the kind of loop a fishing bot is built for. Until AO Transport's fishing module ships, the radar's threat warnings make manual fishing in risky zones a lot safer.
