What it is

What is the AO Transport gathering bot?

AO Transport is an all-in-one Albion Online bot. Faction transport automation and a live radar overlay are available today, and a gathering module is in development. It is designed to gather every resource type: wood, ore, fiber, hide and stone. When the gathering module is ready, it reaches your bot through AO Transport's automatic updates. It is included in your AO Transport license at no extra cost, so buying today gets you the gathering bot the moment it ships. Until then, the radar already helps on manual gathering runs: it draws resource nodes, players, mobs and exits over your game window, and its threats card flags anyone nearby who can attack you.

Guide

Gathering in Albion Online, explained

Gathering is one of the main ways to make silver in Albion Online. There are five resource types, and each one needs its own tool: wood is cut with an axe, ore is mined with a pickaxe, fiber is harvested with a sickle, hide is skinned with a skinning knife and rock is quarried with a stone hammer. Raw resources refine into planks, metal bars, cloth, leather and stone blocks, and each one has a refining bonus city: Fort Sterling for wood, Thetford for ore, Lymhurst for fiber, Martlock for hide and Bridgewatch for rock. Resources go up to Tier 8, and from Tier 4 they can be enchanted from .1 to .4, which makes them worth much more. Higher-tier nodes need higher-tier tools, and gathering gear adds yield and carrying capacity, which matters because weight limits how much you can haul on each trip. Where you gather sets your risk. Blue zones have no PvP and yellow zones only allow knockdowns, but they hold mostly low and mid tiers. Red zones and the black zones of the Outlands are full loot, and that is where the high-tier and enchanted nodes are and where gathering pays best. That trade-off is what makes gathering tiring by hand: long, repetitive routes where one missed ganker can cost a full inventory. It is also why AO Transport's radar and threat warnings, available today, are useful on every gathering run.
